The Music Of Andrew Lloyd Webber

The Showbiz Pops Orchestra,

with special guests: Daniel Boys, Chrissie Hammond, Scott Davies and Helen Hobson

  • Richard Ward-Roden, Conductor
  • Christine Cartwright, Director

For many years the hugely prolific Andrew Lloyd Webber, who celebrated his 60th birthday this year, has dominated the theatre stage, in the West End and Broadway, but enjoyed unrivalled chart and commercial success, too. Having written some of the world's most covered compositions, in recent years he has taken on the role of mentor in television's American Idol, and How do you solve a problem like Maria, Any Dream Will Do, as well as I'd Do Anything.

Join The Showbiz Pops Orchestra in an evening of excerpts from the musicals of the world's most successful composer - hear your favourites from The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, Starlight Express, Sunset Boulevard, Aspects of Love, Tell me on a Sunday, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and other Lloyd Webber favorites.
